One of the great things about conventions is that it’s not only the fans getting to know each other and making new friendships – it’s the actors too. We sometimes forget that most of them never actually worked on the same episodes of Supernatural, so conventions are the only times they see each other. In fact, we had just introduced Matt to a few of the other people who happened to be in the green room, forgetting to explain who they were.
Matt: The girl that I just met, was she an actress?
Kathy and Lynn: Danneel? That’s Jensen’s wife.
Matt: There you go! Everyone thinks we all know each other. I’ve only hung out with the boys a couple of times — and obviously me and Misha are trying to do some charity work together.
Seriously? Doesn’t Jensen have pics of her in his trailer etc? I thought she visited the set sometimes. I know she has been to cons. How could he not even recognize her name?

‘Is she an actress?’ Haha. Fair question is fair. Speaking of which, I was interested to see Jared’s manager used the word ‘extraordinary’ to describe Gen. That’s a bit ambiguous? Presumably it’s supposed to be a compliment. I want to see her do something extraordinary. I demand it! I want her to discover a cure for male pattern baldness, sing Journey, give birth to live rabbits and cook me Beef Wellington (with rare meat AND a crisp pastry casing). All at the same time. While riding a unicorn. And I have to admit I LOLLED on the bus when I read Jared had written ‘I’m the one with the beard’ 😀
