Interesting Observations of Jensen at Supernatural VanCon 2011
The meat over women comment is at around 1:18, and Jensen’s face after saying it is really telling. He blushes and kind of covers his face like he just cannot believe he said that out loud. It is quite interesting.
At 3:02 is the “cold shower” comments and Jensen looks so sweet after Jared’s “I did!”
At 5:00 Jensen looks at Jared before he makes the comments about kayak and it seemed a little odd to me, like he was getting the okay to tell the story first. Jared makes a snarky comment or two, “Not smart.” and the comments about Danneel and Jensen doesn’t seem bothered at all, in fact, he is amused by them.
Jared tells the story about Buckley and after Jensen seems a little annoyed by his facial expressions, especially after the “he’s one of my closest friends” comment. Pause it at 6:19 and Jensen looks angry.
2:16 Jensen looks really hot when he comments about wanting the pic of Jared.
I love the part where Jensen goes off the stage, and Jared follows saying, “Jensen! Jensen!” They are really adorable together.
4:26 When Jensen says “Jared!!” it makes me think he does this a lot. Kind of like when Jared had Jensen’s pants legs sewn together.
5:10 Jensen’s impression of Jared’s “the honker” is hilarious.
5:23 Jensen just looks so amused by Jared and the “horn” talk.
8:15 After Jensen says “you blew it up, I’m taking it down.” his head went to a naughty place because he said, “I’m just gonna leave that alone. (Smacks head) Stop it.” (Interesting.)
I thought this was interesting too. At :44 Jared says, “I was on Gilmore during the final season of Buffy.” Jensen looks like he is thinking this over and then he nods his head yes. I didn’t think they knew each other then. How would Jensen know for sure?
1:26 Jensen again amused by Jared.
1:43 Jensen has the best “affection for this man” face on for Jared.
But, what I found really the most fascinating was how Jensen didn’t react at all at 7:50 when Jared mentioned the wife. Jensen reacted to ever single thing Jared says in all of these videos, but when he mentions his wife, Jensen is blank. He doesn’t look happy, and he even looks down at the floor for a second.
It reminds me of two other videos floating around somewhere that I will have to look for. One time Jensen looked a little angry when Jared spoke of Gen, and another time it was Sandy.

at 1:34 to 1:35 jensens’ eyes do the jared once over, it’s really noticeable XD
at 2:20 the camera just randomly zooms in on jensens’ crotch lmao XD ahh ok they were trying to zoom in on his ring, gotcha.
interesting, normally jensen is either looking at jared with hearts in his eyes or laughing or amused or listening attentively so you can tell when jared says something jensen doesn’t ike cuz his face just goes blank or he has these little micro expressons that flit across his face, it’s really quite interesting.
i wish that we could see jared in these vids better cuz there are moments where jensen eyes doing the flitting up and down thing and i swear jensen is checking out jareds’ backside XD
Interesting observations are interesting. I sometimes think Jensen gives more clues regarding the relationship than Jared as his face is so expressive.
Damn that man is adorably sexy. Some of the looks he’s giving Jared. UNF!
I thought there were a few interesting points when I watched this – mainly that they clearly know when they’ve said something innuendo-ish and lock it down a lot. It seems to be a very conscious decision, whereas someone like Misha or Seb or Chad or Cindy – pretty much anyone actually – would make light of it. They definitely seem more invested in coming across as good family men. The steak story is a good example. Who are all these women who need to call their other halves when they know they are in the middle of having dinner?? Pffft. Please.
And once again, Jensen’s story about an activity with Danneel doesn’t paint her in a particularly favourable light. TBH, I think it is a more realistic story – or maybe it’s just me that spends all quality with my other half rolling my eyes and thinking ‘I hate you’ LOL. But it’s Jared’s reaction which gets me. It’s like he can’t help himself having a little dig. Like the getting a new dog story a while back. Even if it’s in jest, all of his comments seem to make her out to be a selfish ‘princess’ type while Jensen is long suffering. Jensen does little to correct that perception. And then Jared has to ‘fix’ Jensen by cracking his back. He just has to insert himself into the story. Possessive *nods*. But then Jared is always waxing lyrical about Gen, uninterrupted. I conclude that Jared doesn’t really like Danneel. It’s that tone of voice. “I’m kidding, but not really”.
I have to agree with everyone’s observations. I’ve noticed that as well about them not painting DH in the best light. Jensen seems to have no problems with it thought. Jensen does get a kinda of closed look on his face a lot of the times Jared talks about GC. So many of their stories in general are passive aggressive and use a lot of double speak. Love that the boys are still constantly checking each other out. They can’t help it. The epic crotch zoom was quite amusing.
Also “skip the wifeys for the weekend”. RLY JARED??? Is it the 1950s????
